Another tooth gone. I love this gap-toothed smile. I can already see the new ones peeking, so I know the gap won't last. Gotta savor it while it does!
In another story from today, I was putting MungBean to bed and helping him say his prayer. He's 3, right, so prayers are basically me saying a few words, and him repeating them. Tonight, he decided it was time to take control of the situation; apparently I was leaving out some important things to pray about. But he wasn't ready to totally go on his own, so it went something like this:
Me: We thank thee for this day...
MB (whispering): Mom, what about the toast?
Me: We thank thee for the toast...
MB (whispering): And the applesauce and the graham crackers and the pizza.
Me: We thank thee for the toast and the applesauce and the graham crackers and the pizza.
MB (normal voice): Thank thee toast, applesauce, graham crackers, pizza.
Me: We thank thee for the rain.
MB (whispering): What about Daddy? Daddy stay dry.
Me: Please bless Daddy to stay dry.
MB: Bless Daddy stay dry.
You get the picture. It was cute. When we finished he told me it was my turn to pray, and he prompted me with every line. Funny boy!

The gap tooth is SOOOO incredibly cute - just like the girl it's attached to! And what about that PAINT JOB??? Can you say "LOVE IT"?! As for MB - I adore that he was thankful for pizza - after all, it's what I'M thankful for - who cares about the day - give me the pizza and graham crackers!!!
Way cute!!!! I miss that little boy.
Holy moly, I can't believe how grown up Mungbean looks in that picture. I love the beach pictures too. I've still never been to the Atlantic, something I really want to do.
