First Day of School--part two

First day of Kindergarten!!! Quay was soooo excited! We kept ourselves busy all morning with a walk, some baking, a bath, and then finally it was time to go! We walked with Quay's very great buddy Conner (above) and found out that the first day of kindergarten is ABSOLUTE CHAOS!!! I missed the official first day with Babs because she was sick, so I was not prepared for the sheer number of parents, kids, siblings, and teachers... none of whom knew what was going on!!! But eventually we got everyone lined up:

... and into class. Here's Quay, all ready to get to work:

When she got home, she reported that "School is AWESOME!!!!" I'm so glad she had a great day. She's already excited to go back tomorrow!

Also today was another soccer game, and I actually took pictures this time:

I love that their outfits are so vibrant... between that and the fact that they're the only girls on their team, it makes them easy to pick out on the field. It was an exciting game, the teams were pretty well matched. Quay did a great job playing goalie, and Babs scored the first goal of the game!

Here's the hairdo I did on the girls... Babs was so impressed with it, she was sure it would dazzle the other team into letting them score a lot of goals. Hooray for confidence boosters!

And MungBean had a great time running down the hill, rolling down the hill, crawling down the hill, sliding down the hill, rolling the soccer balls down the hill...

At least it kept him off the soccer field! It really was a great day!!!

Oh so fun! Love the pictures of school how Quay's smile is like ear to ear! So cute! Do you love having the games during the week? I do! That hairstyle is amazing. When my baby's hair gets a bit longer you'll have to teach me. Babs looks adorable and it's so true that confidence soars when you love your look.
