Have you noticed that a ridiculous number of the pictures of my kids have them posed in front of the door? Lame backdrop, huh? We often make them stand there for a plain background that won't distract from the adorableness of the subject, but clearly we ought to exercise a bit more imagination, because it's getting old. The kids are totally trained... this particular pic came about as we were getting ready to leave for Church recently. Quay asked me to put Giraffey in her coat pocket and then take their picture... and she placed herself in the standard picture taking spot. And anytime the camera comes out, MungBean immediately heads for the door, just like Pavlov's dogs, because that's what you do!

haha funny post! I can't tell you how large the percentage is of my childhood photos in front of the door and probably Carter's too!
Aaah, she is so cute! With that sweet little face and lip gloss and her bruised legs and Giraffey. Love it, the backdrop couldn't possibly take away any of the cuteness. :)
I do the same thing, but I agree with Colleen. There's nothing that could take away from the cuteness of that picture.
That is funny that he is trained to head to the door to take a picture! :)
How funny! Your kids are so cute!
Growing up it was the fireplace for us. Funny that everyone has a photo spot. She looks like a doll out of the Kit Kitwhateverich movie. Cute - like her mom ('s best friend!)
I LOOOOVE your door! :)
