I knew this day would eventually come...

(No, I'm not referring to the day I return to blogging. I wasn't actually sure I'd ever get around to posting any of the million or so blogs I've got floating around in my head. The thing is, I can't blog and knit at the same time, and I reeeeeeeally love to knit. Anyway, here's a little bitty one without even any pictures to tide you over.)

Quay came home from school today going on and on about the Crocodile Hunter, about whom she had learned as part of a lesson on Australia. Her teacher had, apparently, demonstrated Steve Irwin's techniques, and Quay spent most of the afternoon alternately begging me to record episodes of the show and announcing:

"Don't try this at home, this is very dangerous!"

... and then mimicking leaping on a croc. MungBean thought it looked like fun, and began imitating his sister, but changed the wording just a little...

"You've got to try this at home! This is very dangerous!"

Hee hee hee!
