Lagoon

As our last hurrah for summer we spent the day at Lagoon on Wednesday. The very first thing we did was hustle the kids over to my favorite ride ever: Bulgy the Whale. This was MungBean's first ever amusement park solo thrill ride and he really seemed to like it. The girls of course are big fans of this ride (it's a classic!). Then we dashed over to the log flume followed by the little dragon roller coaster. At that point, Mung decided his parents were dirty tricksters and couldn't be trusted and no matter how much we assured him that all the other rides were nice and gentle and there would be no cold splashes or sudden drops and turns, he refused to ride anything else. Except for the Terrorride and Dracula's Castle, which were big hits with all 3 kids. Strange, but true. It was a fun family day, though Munkus and I agreed that after going to Six Flags last month, Lagoon was well, just not the same.

What fun!
I braved Lagoon 2 years ago (when Adrienne was just a baby). And haven't felt like going back since.
