Munkus and Babs celebrated their shared birthday about 6 weeks ago, but I never got around to posting any pictures so here you go, better late than never. We are enjoying their birthdays this particular decade because of the cool math you can do with it: on the day that Munkus turned 33, Babs turned 6 (see, 3+3=6! Cool!) Next year he'll be 34, she'll be 7, it's just awesome! Anyway, in the above picture, Quay is exclaiming over a princess wii game and Babs is just in shock that she's got her very own video game.

I don't know why everyone looks so solemn for the singing of "Happy Birthday to You." We were having fun, I promise! (Notice how that cool math trick works out so well for me with the candles on the cake... 3 and 3 candles. It's so great!) Anyway, it was a fun day, and I'm sorry we didn't share it with you all a little closer to the actual day.

I'm all over the awesome math ages!!
My sister is 9 yrs. younger than me and my digits used to add up to her age and now both our digits add up to the same sum (I'm 33, 3+3=6 and she's 24, 2+4=6). I think it is the coolest thing ever (and I can always figure out how old she is)!! :)
Happy Belated Birthday!
Happy birthday, guys! You know, I probably wouldn't even notice a cool math thing like that if I saw it. :) My family's funny birthday thing is that my brother and sister share a birthday three years apart. My brother was the third baby in a row my mom had and the doctor said she was going to ruin her health and that she had to wait three years to have another baby. She is good at following doctors orders!
Mung looks so great with y'alls kids, but still it is hard to believe he is really old enough to be a dad. In my mind he is still a big kid hanging out in his stripy PJ's. The worst part is, I am that much older too.
