Not that it's at all obvious from the picture, but we went to The Police concert this summer. Munkus and I don't get out a whole lot, and when we do, we don't often do very cool or interesting things, but this was one I'll count as cool. It was a great concert and I love love love Sting, so that was great. The best part was that we were sitting behind this really nice family that sat down through the entire concert, so we got to sit down too! OK, so maybe that reveals that we're not actually that cool, if we were happy to sit down, but hey, we're old. Anyway, it was a blast! Good times, good times!

You are cool! Don't think twice about sitting down at concerts have been doing that for years. You are so lucky to have such cool people sitting in front of you.

I've been reluctant to even try going to a concert in my "old age." I'm just not sure I could accept how much of me has changed.

were there "young people" there, too? or was it mostly people who liked the Police when they were popular?

Yes, you are cool. Yes, you are old. I can say that because I am older than you. I so wanted to go, but we were in Oregon that week. I was very sad. The Maroney's were there and she called me during a song to let it play on my voice mail. It was such a bad audio though that we had trouble figuring out which song it was. I had to listen to my Police album to figure it out. It was De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da.

You are cool and I like to sit down too, I think once you have kids, you'll take any chance you can get!
