It turns out EVERYONE is growing up!

Well, MungBean walked for real today... eleven steps! Yay! (I guess)

And Babs is growing up too. A few days ago she announced that she REALLY likes Hannah Montana and really wants to watch her show. As far as I'm concerned, she still ought to be watching Sesame Street and The Wiggles and not "big kid" shows like Hannah Montana, but after some hemming and hawing I decided to set a timer for it on the DVR. (In a side note, Munkus was shocked when he saw that HM was on the list of recorded shows!) So the last couple of days we've watched HM after school (and it's not as awful as I expected) and Babs is thrilled. Today after the show, the girls decided to play Hannah Montana (cringe!) and so Babs set up the coffee table as her stage and asked me to plug in the cd player for her. I can't tell you how thrilled/relieved/amused I was a few moments later to hear Babs singing along to one of her Primary music cd's. A different style for Hannah, but I'm Babs is being true to her sweet self.

Meanwhile, QuayQuay can be heard frequently throughout the day belting out her version of the Hannah Montana theme song: "Best of BOAT Worlds!"
