Anyone who's ever had a conversation with Quay can attest to the fact that her verbal skills are pretty impressive. But occasionally, she either can't come up with the word she wants or standard English vocabulary just isn't enough to express her feelings, so she'll just coin her own phrases. For example, she recently informed me that her favorite dinosaur is the Trinoceros. For a while, our FHE Clue games included "Ferplesser Plum." And yesterday as I was putting together some train tracks for her she congratulated me on a job well done: "Mom, that's train-riffic!"
